Welcome to The Stone Church

"What's your story?"  It is a fun question to ask people whom you meet.

Some people will raise an eyebrow and cock their head to the side as if to say, "What do you mean, my story?"

Others will go back decades to the day they were born,

and still others will share what has happened in the last few days or hours.

Regardless, when you ask that question, you get some great answers.

So, What's your story?

Why are you here?

Are you new to the area and looking to find a place to plant your life and your family?

Have you been disconnected from church for a while but now you sense something (or Someone) is leading you

to take a step in that direction again?

Maybe you've been burned by a church and you want to make sure you get it right this time?

No matter what your reason for visiting this site, we are glad you did, and we hope to meet you face-to face soon.

And don't be surprised if someone stops and asks you:  "What's your story?"

We are CALLED

to make disciples who make disciples

Jesus came to seek and to save the world; not merely those  who lived in those days when he walked  on the roads and paths of Judea or sailed upon the Sea of Galilee. He came with the far greater mission of bringing salvation to all people through all of history.

How is he accomplishing that task?  It started with twelve ordinary me whom He called and equipped to be his disciples--to "walk as he walked."  Then, with some of his final words to those  disciples he sent them into the world, saying:  "Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirt. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this:  I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

It was the mission of the original disciples.

It is still the mission of His disciples today.

A simple command with profound impact.

"As you come to him, the living Stone, rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him--you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. "
